Description of Kit:

The Mineralogist’s Cabinet of Crystal Curiosities is a Victorian-inspired collection for examining the strange beauty, structure, weight, magnetism, and optical character of the mineral world. Crystals, raw ores, shaped specimens, a fossil, magnetic sand, viewing stones, and miniature instruments are gathered as though from a natural philosopher’s private study. The keeper is invited to look closely through the vintage magnifying glass, observe the fibres of ulexite, test lodestone against silver magnetic sand, turn fluorite toward the light, and arrange each specimen within a personal treasury of earthly wonders.
